TROOPS OF SF (E) DISTRIBUTION OF SCHOOL ACCESSORIES FOR THE CHILDREN

On the concept of the Commander, Security Forces - East Major General Priyantha Jayawardana, directions of the General Officer Commanding 24 Infantry Division, Major General Shaliya Amunugama and close supervision of the Commander 242 Infantry Brigade, Brigadier Anuradha Solangaarachchi, Troops of 8th Battalion Sri Lanka National Guard, Organized an Entertainment program and Distribution of School Accessories with a sweet pack for the Children of “Sakalakalei” Preschool - Thirikkovil, for this program 21 Children and 02 Numbers of Staff were benefited.

Accordantly, the program conducted on Saturday (01) in parallel with the “World Children’s day”. Before the programme preschool building was colour was hed and entire garden cleaned up by the troops of 8 SLNG.

Furthermore, Commander 242 Infantry Brigade, Brigadier Anuradha Solangaarachchi, 242 Infantry Brigade Civil affairs Officer Lieutenant Colonel Prashanna de Silva, Commanding Officer 8th Battalion Sri Lanka National Guard, Major Sajeewa Amadooru and Officers and Other ranks were associated with the event.
