On the concept of the Commander, Security Forces - East Major General Priyantha Jayawardena, directions of the General Officer Commanding 24 Infantry Division, Major General Shaliya Amunugama and close supervision of the Commander 241 Infantry Brigade, Brigadier Chandra Abeykoon, troops of 11th Battalion Sri Lanka National Guard, Organized a Special Lunch and Distribution of School equipment programme for the Children of “Siyapat” Preschool – Neeththa, Ampara.
Accordantly, the programme was conducted on Saturday (01) in parallel with the “World Children’s day”. For this programme 20 Children and 20 Numbers of parents were benefited
Furthermore, Commanding Officer 11th Battalion Sri Lanka National Guard, Major Ajantha Kumara and Officers and Other ranks joined to make the event success
