TOOPS OF SF (E) CONDUCT OF SHRAMADHANA CAMPAIGN

On the concept of the Commander, Security Forces - East Major General Priyantha Jayawardena, directions of the General Officer Commanding 24 Infantry Division, Major General Shaliya Amunugama and close supervision of the Commander 241 Infantry Brigade, Brigadier Chandra Abeykoon, troops of 16th Battalion Sri Lanka National Guard, Organized a “Shramadhana” Campaign at “Human Right Commission” building premises - Ampara

Accordantly, the programme was conducted on Saturday (01) in parallel with the “World Children’s day” and Shramadhana Campaign was requested by the Commissioner of “Probation and Child Care” Department - Eastern Province to clear the land for the newly proposed child care center for Non-Guardianship Children.

Furthermore,Civil Affairs Officer 241 Infantry Brigade, Lieutenant Colonel Thilak Kumarasiri Commanding Officer 16th Battalion Sri Lanka National Guard ,Major Manjula Alawatta, Probation & Child Care Officer with his staff ,Officers and Other ranks joined to make the event success.
