As per the guidelines given by General Shavendra Silva, Chief of Defence Staff and Commander of the Army, the Headquarters 231 Infantry Brigade on Wednesday (09) conducted the booster dose vaccination drive for the Employees of the Brandix Apparel Solution Limited in Ariyampathy in Batticaloa District, in parallel with the re-launch of vaccination of the booster dose to the general public.
The vaccination drive conducted with support of troops of the 4th Battalion the Gamunu Watch and Sri Lanka Army Medical Corps. During the programme Employees of the Brandix Apparel Solution were vaccinated with “Pfizer” Vaccine. In the meantime, the Commander 231 Infantry Brigade, Brigadier Dilupa Bandara visited the vaccination center to coordinate the event.
The programme was completed strictly adhering to health protocols and preventive guidelines.
