An awareness workshop on ‘Green Agriculture and Production of Organic Fertilizer’ was conducted by the 23 Infantry Division of the Security Forces Headquarters - East on Tuesday (01) at the Pulathisi Mandapa Hall in Polonnaruwa.
Officers of 23 Infantry Division and Agriculture Officials in the Polonnaruwa region joined with the workshop to discuss the matters pertaining to the “Green Agriculture and Production of Organic Fertilizer”. The session was conducted by Mr K R Thilakasiri, the Principal Agriculturist at Bathalegoda Rice Research and Development Institute.
GOC 23 Infantry Division Major General Nalin Koswatte, GA Polonnarua Mr W A Dharmasiri and several agrarian officials in Polonnaruwa region including Army personnel took part in the discussion.
