HOUSE FOR A NEEDY FAMILY IN BATTICALOA DISTRICT

The troops of the 4th Battalion, the Gemunu Watch with the Lions Club vested a renovated and refurbished house for a needy family of Valachchenai in Batticaloa district under the instructions of the Commander 231 Infantry Brigade, Brigadier Dilupa Bandara on 28 December 2021.

The house was handed over to the recipient Mrs Komalam by the Commander 231 Infantry Brigade, Brigadier Dilupa Bandara during a brief ceremony.

The president of ‘77 Thoughts for Hope’ and the MJF Zone Chaiperson, Lion, K Logendran and several members of the Lions Club were present at the occasion.

Civil Affair Officer of 231 Infantry Brigade, Commanding Officer of 4 GW, Officers of 4 GW and the troops attended the programme.
