TROOPS EDUCATED ON IMPORTANCE AND PRODUCTION OF ORGANIC FERTILIZER (COMPOST)

Under the guidance of the Commander Security Force (East), Major General Lal Chandrasiriand with the supervision of the General Officer Commanding 24 Infantry Division Major General Chaminda Lamahewa and the Commander 241 Infantry Brigade, Brigadier Chandra Abeykoon, an awareness programmewas conducted to enhance the technical knowledge of organic fertilizer production on 21 December 2021at the 24 Infantry Division lecture hall.

The programme was conducted by Mr E M Dammika Bandara - The Manager, District Agriculture Training Centre –Ampara, with coordination of Commanding Officer of 11 SLNG Lieutenant Colonel Dhammika Weerasinghe.

The troops of under command Brigades and Battalions who are actively engaged in the fertilizer production attended for the programme.
