SECURITY FORCE HEADQUARTERS (EAST) SUCCESSFULLY CONCLUDES THE WORKSHOP ON MILITARY PROFESSIONALISM AND THE COMRADESHIP

On the directions of the Commander of the Army and the Commander Security Force (East), a 7 day workshop to educate young officers on military professionalism and the comradeship was successfully concluded at SFHQ (E) Welikanda.

This workshop was organized mainly to educate the young officers on the role and tasks of the Army, military doctrines, training modules, and the responsibilities of the officers as per the vision of the Sri Lanka Army stipulated in ‘the Sri Lanka Army Way Forward Strategy 2020 – 2025’. The workshop was concluded on 21 December 2021 and it was inclusive of lectures conducted covering Administrative and Operational aspects of the Army, Army procedures, Officers Career Progression, Handling Social Media and etc.

Moreover, the officers attended the practical sessions very enthusiastically and the workshop concluded effectively during a closing ceremony.
