NEW COMMANDER OF 222 INFANTRY BRIGADE ASSUMES OFFICE

Brigadier KMN Kulasekara RWP RSP psc, assumed duties as the new Commander of 222 Infantry Brigade with a simple ceremony on 14 October 2021 at the 222 Infantry Brigade Headquarters, Jayanthigama, Kanthale.

In accordance with military traditions, Brigadier KMN Kulasekara RWP RSP psc reviewed the Guard Turnout on arrival after he was welcomed by Senior Officers of the 222 Infantry Brigade.

The newly appointed Brigade Commander placed his signature for a formal document to signify the acceptance of the office and planting of a sapling was taken place to mark the occasion. Commanding Officers, Officers and Other Ranks attended the ceremony.
