Responding to an appeal made by Mrs Kaneshan Janeshvari, a resident in Vakarai area, Colonel Wasantha Hewage, Commander 233 Infantry Brigade took steps to renovate the partially damaged roof of her house before starting the North East monsoon season.
Within two days of time, the damaged roof was renovated by the troops of 233 Brigade under command to 23 Division and handed over to the owner on Monday (06).
