Troops of 22 Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment of 222 Brigade under 22 Infantry Division donated two cattles to a low-income family in Trincomalee District on Saturday (07) giving a helping hand to improve their livelihood.
This worthy act was conducted under the guidance of Major General Sanath Aluvihare, General Officer Commanding (GOC) 22 Infantry Division with the supervision of the Commander 222 Infantry Brigade, Brigadier MGW Wimalasena RSP.
An Officer and few Other Ranks of 22 VIR went to the doorstep of the beneficiary, Mr G.M.S Ekenayake who resides in Serunuwara and handed over those two cattle.
