Troops of the 7 Light Regiment Sri Lanka Artillery organized a programme to distribute dry rations packs for several needy families in Rotawewa and Minneriya areas in Polonnaruwa district on Tuesday (20).
The programme was conducted under the guidance and supervision of the Commanding Officer of 7 Light Regiment Sri Lanka Artillery, Lieutenant Colonel Priyanath Karawita, to enhance the livelihood of some selected poor families in the area with the sponsorship of the local donners.
Commanding Officer, Officers and Other Ranks of 7 SLA joined with the programme after visiting door steps of those recipients.
