ANOTHER ICC TO STRENGTHEN THE GOVERNMENT'S EFFORT OF CONTAINING THE SPREAD OF ‘COVID-19’ VIRUS

Considering the fast swelling numbers of COVID infected persons, Hardy College of Technology Ampara was improvised into an Intermediate Care Centre (ICC) under the directions of the Commander Security Force (East) Major General Channa Weerasuriya to meet with needs at this critical hour of our society.

The establishment of this Intermediate Care Centre which consists with 400 beds was accomplished considering the urgent need of strengthening the government’s efforts of containing the spread of ‘COVID-19’ virus.
