Under the direction of General Officer Commanding of 22 Infantry Division, Maj Gen C D Weerasuriya RWP RSP ndu organized an Artificial Limbs donation programme on 27 September 2020 at town hall Trincomalee in coordination with Commander of 221 Infantry Brigade, Brigadier WP Kariyawasam and Colombo Friend in Need Society and the Rotary Club capital city (Rotary Club - Colombo city).
During the event 49 artificial limbs were distributed among the selected low income disabled persons living in the Trincomalee district. The Mayor of Trincomalee, Commander of 223 Brigade, Staff Officers of 22 Division and 04 x Officials from Colombo Rotary Club and Colombo Friend in Need Society also attended the event.
