NEW COMMANDING OFFICER OF 10th BATTALION, THE GAJABA REGIMENT

Major A J S Abenayake RSP assumed duties as the 15th Commanding Officer of 10th Battalion, the Gajaba Regiment on 01 November 19 at the Sinhala Maha Vidyalaya Camp" Batticaloa.

The Commanding Officer took over the duties of his appointment amidst chanting of Seth Pirith by Mahasangha at the auspicious minute. The day's proceedings comprised with a Guard Turnout" planting of sapling, troops address and all rank tea.
