The Annual Katina Pinkama or the esteemed robe offering ceremony of Keviliyamaduwa Sri Abhinavaramaya was held on 03 November 2019 under the patronage of Ven. Ampitiye Sumanarathna Thero, the Chief Incumbent - Mangalaramaya Batticaloa.
Meanwhile, coincide with the ceremony, a "Bodhigara" with 28 Buddha Statues (Atavisi Buddha Prathima) was also declared open at this occasion. 231 Brigade and the 4th Battalion the Gemunu Watch assisted to conduct the event. Colonel Mihindu Perera, Commander 231 Brigade, Colonel Sunil Thilakarathna - Colonel Coordinating Officer (Volunteer) SF HQ(E), Lieutenant Colonel Suraj Gamage - Commanding Officer 4th Battalion the Gemunu Watch attended the event.
