TROOPS OF SECURITY FORCES (EAST) ASSIST THE ANNUAL ARALIYA MAL POOJAWA AT UNAGALA VEHERA TEMPLE

The ‘Araliya Mal Poojawa’ (offering of one million Temple flowers) was held at the Unagala Vehera Raja Maha Viharaya premises on July 08 with the participation of large gathering of devotees from all over the country.

The ‘Araliya Mal Poojawa’ is an annual pinkama organized by the Unagala Vehera Raja Maha Viharaya with the assistance of the Tri Forces, Sri Lanka Police and other public authorities.

The pinkama was held with the blessings of Chief Incumbent of the Unagala Vehera Raja Maha Viharaya Diwle Assaji Thera. with the guidance of Comd SF HQ (E) Major General Aruna Jayasekera, Brigadier Wanditha Mahinkanda, Brigadier General Staff of Security Force Headquarters East attended the occasion along with the officers and Other Ranks of the Sri Lanka Army.
