SUCCESSFUL TERMINATION OF THE REALITY BASED SELF DEFENCE COURSE NO 04

Reality Based Self Defence (RBSD) or Reality Based Martial Arts refer to systems of self defence that focus exclusively on reality based self defence scenarios and conditions. Unlike mixed martial arts and traditional martial arts styles like karate, reality based self defence is not a hobby or sport and it does not participate in tournaments or sport combat competitions. It's all about learning how to fight for self defence in a actually threatened scenario.

As per the directions of Commander of the Army, this Reality Based Self Defence (RBSD) Course was carefully designed under the conceptual guidance of Commander SF-East Major General Santhusitha Pananwala with special focus on enhancing the capacity of men and women serving in SF (East) to face future security challenges. Accordingly, the course consists of three phases. (Tamil Language Course, Int-Collection Course and (RBSD) Course).
