233 BRIGADE ORGANISED SERIES OF SCHOOL ITEMS DONATING PROGRAMS IN ITS AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY
233 Brigade joined hands with Buddhist Society of the People’s Bank main branch Colombo to distribute school items for the needy children in 233 Brigade Area of Responsibility. Programs were conducted in Malvila area, Sandunpitiya area, Namalgama area in Welikanda and Vakarai area on 15 December 2017. \r\n\r\nAround 150 students were benefited from the project. Mr Preethi Kollonnage, the General Secretary of the Peoples Bank Buddhist Society main branch Colombo, and his members distributed the items. Everyone who participated for the event praised the effort of Buddhist Society of the People’s Bank main branch Colombo and the Sri Lanka Army’s effort to uplift the education standard of the areas like Welikanda and Vakarai.
