CHINESE SHAOLIN KUNG FU SHOW WAS ORGANIZED BY THE SRI LANKA CHINA SOCIAL AND CULTURAL COOPERATION
Commemorating the 60th Anniversary of Diplomatic Relations between China and Sri Lanka, a Chinese Shaolin Kung Fu show consisting 25 warrior monks was organized by the Sri Lanka China Social and Cultural Cooperation. The show toured Sri Lanka for the first time. As part of the tour, a show was held in Polonnaruwa. Comd SF HQ(E) Santhusitha Pananwala was the chief guest of the Show in Polonnaruwa.\r\n\r\nMr Ranjith Ariyaratna, District Secretary, Mr. S. Ekanayake, Additional District Secretary, Polonnauwa and several high level government officials and community leaders were present at the show. In addition, FMA (E) Maj Gen Manoj Mudannayaka, Brigadier General Staff SFHQ(E) represent as special invitees to the occasion.\r\n\r\nIn addition, a team of Army Boxers, Taekwondo and Muaythai /Muay Boran also given opportunity to be part of the audience to learn from the Shaolin worrier monks. The show provided a good opportunity to learn how to wake up the key power in a human body, control of breath and deep concentration of professional shoaling monks. \r\n
