SUCCESSFUL TERMINATION OF THE REALITY BASED SELF DEFENCE COURSE NO 03
Reality Based Self Defence (RBSD) or Reality Based Martial Arts refer to systems of self defence that focuses exclusively on reality based self defence scenarios and conditions. Unlike mixed martial arts and traditional martial arts styles like karate, reality based self defence is not a hobby or sport and it does not participate in tournaments or sport combat competitions. It is all about learning how to fight for self defence in a actually threatened scenario.\r\n\r\nWith the direction of Commander Security Force Headquarters (East) Major General HWSDB Pananwala, 23 Division conducted RBSD Course No 03 with the able assistance of 1 Commando Regiment. 57 aspirants of under command battalions of 23 Division participated for the course. The graduation ceremony of the course held at Headquarters, Security Force (East) on 04 December 2017.\r\n\r\nCommander Security Force Headquarters (East) graced the occasion as the chief guest. General Officer Commanding 22 Division, General Officer Commanding 23 Division, General Officer Commanding 24 Division, Commander Forward Maintenance Area (East), Brigadier General Staff Security Force Headquarters (East) and a large gathering of Senior military officers, officers and other rankers of the AOR were presented the occasion.\r\n
