\" WIRU SITHATA DAMSARA\" SPECIAL POOJA OF DETERMINATION OF BRAVE SOLDIERS IN EASTERN THEARTRE
As per the direction of MOD and with the approval of Comd of the Army, the Chief Incumbent of Sri Bodhiraja Temple, Thennahena, Pitabeddara Ven Elamaldeniye Sirinanda Thero conducted a special pooja of determination to invoke blessings on troops deployed in SF (E). Theater from 27 Jul 2017 – 30 Jul 2017 (four days) covering all three divisions. \r\nDuring this four day program of blessings, it was fascinating to see the entire attended Officers and ORs lined up holding a lit clay oil lamp on their hands. Further, at the conclusion remarks made by the prelate wished long life to the HE the President and the government, all Tri Services and their brave members, dependant war heroes who are receiving rehabilitation and recuperation and invoked blessings on valiant soldiers who sacrificed their supreme lives to restore the territorial integrity of mother Sri Lanka. \r\n
