HEALTHY ARMY HEALTHY NATION PROGRAMME EDUCATES TROOPS IN SECURITY FORCES (EAST)
The \"Healthy Army Healthy Nation\" (HAHN) campaign aimed to reduce disability and death among Army personnel due to Cardio Vascular Diseases (CVD) and diabetes has increased the awareness Programmes to prevent Army personnel falling prey to the Non Communicable Diseases.(NCD)\r\nAnother round of the ongoing Healthy Army Healthy Nation campaign got underway on 24 March 2017 at the HQ of Security Forces, East at Welikanda . \r\nLectures of the program were conducted by Consultant Physician Brig ASM Wijewardane, Executive Coordinator of Healthy Army Healthy Nation program, and Col RMM Monaragala, Consultant Psychiatric. GOCs’ of 23, 24 Divs and Comd FMA (E) together with 88 Officers and 937 other ranks attended the event.\r\n\r\n
