DONATION OF MUCH NEEDED SCHOOL ACCESSORIES TO STUDENTS OF PANICHCHANKERNI GOVERNMENT TAMIL MIXED SCHOOL
The troops of 18 SLNG under command to 233 Bde donated 250 x packs of school accessories worth Rs.1500.00 each among 250 children of Panichchankerni Government Tamil Mixed School in Vakarai amidst a simple ceremony on 04 March 2017. Col Chandra Jayaweera RSP psc graced the occation as the Chief Guest along with Dr TG Prithiviraj, the Executive Director of “ Humedica International Lanka’, the organization which totally contributed the donation and the officials of Department of Education of Valaichanai were also present .\r\nDuring the ceremony, on behalf of the teachers and the children of the school, the Principal extended the gratitude to the Army for coordinating this event along with Humedica International Lanka.\r\n
