WORKSHOP ON ORGANIZATIONAL BEHAVIOUR AT HQ 23 DIVISION

1. Organizational Behavior (OB) is the study of the way people interact within groups. Normally this study is applied in an attempt to create more efficient organizations as well as in the field of military too. The central idea of the study of organizational behaviour is that a scientific approach can be applied to the management of workers. Organizational behaviour theories are used for human resource purposes to maximize the output from individual group members. OB research can be categorized in at least three ways, including the study of individuals in organizations, work groups and how organizations behave.\r\n \r\n2. A workshop was arranged in this regard at the Headquarters of 23 Division on the directions of GOC 23 Division, Maj Gen HWSDB Pananwala RSP ndu, on 09 March 2017. The resource person was the Dean, Faculty of Management and Commerce of the South Eastern University of Sri Lanka, Dr. S Gunapalan PhD MCom BBA. His wealth of knowledge and experience upgraded the knowledge of the officers who attended the workshop.\r\n40 officers of 23 Div AOR attentively participated for the programme. \r\n\r\n
