Major General Darshana Hettiarrachchi RSP USP ndu psc, Commander Security Forces (East) visited 7 MIC located at Kantale on Monday, 20 February 2017.\r\nOn arrival, the visiting Comd SF (E) was accorded with a formal Guard Turnout at the entrance of Bn HQ and thereafter he was warmly welcomed by Lt Col PP Priyalal MIC, the Commanding Officer.\r\nDuring the visit, the Comd SF (E) planted a Jack sapling to mark his visit to 7 MIC followed by a troops address and all ranks lunch. A comprehensive briefing was conducted by the CO at his office about the role and tasks of 7 MIC, including the existing intelligence situation under his area of purview.\r\nGSO I (Ops) along with the respective Staff Officers of AQ Branch accompanied the Comd SF (E) during the visit.\r\n
