23 DIVISION CONDUCTED A SHRAMADANA CAMPAIGN AT ST MICHAEL\'S COLLEGE BATTICALOA
It is the responsibility of everybody to keep the schools clean and beautiful since the school education laid the foundation for each of us to grow up into responsible persons in the society.Troops of the 23 Division conducted a ‘Shramadana Campaign’ at St. Michael’s College Batticaloa, on 31 Jan 2017 consequent to a request made by the School Development Society to make the environment clean and free from dengue epidemic. Comd 231 Bde along with 8 x 100 troops from 231 Brigade, 10 GR and 11 (V) SLSR participated for the campaign which was organized with the guidance of GOC 23 Division, Major General HWSDB Pananwala RSP ndu. In appreciation of the contribution to the event, a token of appreciation was also presented to the Comd 231 Bde, Brigadier NDSP Niwunhalla RWP RSP, by the St. Michael’s College - Batticaloa.
