23 DIVISION CONDUCTED A SHRAMADANA CAMPAIGN TO CLEAN BATTICALOA CITY
1. Effective protection of the environment is critical to sustainable development. It is now time to join hands across the country to protect and preserve our environment and there by safeguard human health along with the natural environment air ,water and land.\r\n2. In view of above 23 Division troops conducted a Environmental campaign on 20 January 2017 at Batticaloa city to make pristine environment with in the area under the guidance of GOC 23 Division Major General HWSDB Pananwala RSP ndu. 350 ‹ troops under command to 23 Division attended the campaign. District Secretary of the Batticaloa, Mrs P S M Charles and all other government officials along with the staff attended the above campaign.\r\n
