VISIT OF PACOM (PACIFIC COMMAND) AUGMENTATION TEAM OF US EMBASSY TO SF HQ (E)
PACOM Augmentation Team of Embassy of United States visited SF HQ (E) on 20 Oct 2016 with the purpose of introducing the new Civil Military Support Element and to be aware of the role of SF HQ (E) theatre on Humanitarian Assistance/Disaster Response.rnThe team had a discussion with all Civil Affairs Officers of SF HQ (E) AOR, related the matters with the Humanitarian Assistance provided by the troops and the activities conducted on disaster response, followed by a presentation on organization and mechanism of Civil Affairs in SF (E). rnFurther, during the discussion the team was impressed with the relationship of Sri Lanka Army with civil government officials and tasks that troops have been carried out on Humanitarian/Disaster response aspects in the field during past few years.rn
