In compliance with the concept “Pawasata Jala Bindak”, a tube well was ceremonially opened at 23 SLSR Bn by Hon. Vijith Wijayamuni Soyza - the Minister of Irrigation and Water Resources Management, on 27 Aug 2016 providing drinking water for the soldiers. 24 Div Comd, 242 Bde Comd, OIC Police Station – Siyambalanduwa, Officials of Water Board, Commanding Officer 23 SLSR, Officers and Other Ranks attended the occasion .
