SOLOSMASTHANA WANDANA MAHA PUNYOTHSAWAYA AT GAL VIHARAYA POLONNARUWA
The Buddhist Channel organized a day programme named Solosmasthana Wandana Maha Punyothsawaya at ancient Gal Vihara premises on 06 August 2016 with the patronage of Venerable Vendaruwe Upali Thero Deputy Chief Incumbent of Asgiriya Chapter. Thousands of devotees observed Sil during the day and various other programmes related to the event were conducted.\r\nLunch was provided by a businessman in Polonnaruwa and troops of Forward Maintenance Area (East) contributed in preparing and distributing meals among 10,000 devotees who observed Sil. HE the President too made his presence with the programme in the evening by opening of illumination of Kiri Vehera Temple sponsored by the Buddhist Channel.\r\n
