THE NEW LORD BUDDHA STATUE REACHES TO TEMPLE AND DISTRIBUTED DRY RATION PACKS AND WATER
27th Sri Lanka National Guard located in Ichalanpathu under 222 Brigade of 22 Division in Security Forces (East) area, facilitated the villagers to conduct a Perahera and installing of a new Buddha Statue at Mahindapura temple and same day distributed drinking Water and dry rations for the people who were affected by the prevailing drought at Mahindapura area on 27 Aug 2014. (Troops participated 05 x 55).
