1ST COMMANDO REGIMENT CELEBRATED VESAK FESTIVAL IN SEVANAPITIYA
1st Commando Regiment Stationed in Borawewa, Celebrated Vesak festival in Giant Scale along with the Civil Society in the Area, at Sevanapitiya Town in Polonnaruwa.There was a Vesak Zone Organized with Gient Vesak Lantern exhibition,Vesak Bhakthi Geetha Programme and a Vesak Dansala from 14th May 2014 to 17th May 2014 along with the Batticoloa Road at Sevanapitiya Town. Major General Lal Perera, Commander, Security Forces (East) declared open the Vesak Zone on 15 th May 2014 Lot of devotees reside in the area paid visits at the Vesak Zone and attend for Dansala.
