FORWARD MAINTENANCE AREA CELEBRATED VESAK FESTIVAL IN MINNERIYA
Forward Maintenance Area Stationed in Minneriya, along with Logistic Units under ,Command Celebrated Vesak festival in Giant Scale. There was a Vesak Zone consist with Giant Vesak Lantern exhibition, Vesak Bhakthi Geetha Programme and a Vesak Dansala Organized from 14th May 2014 to 17th May 2014 at Infantry Training School Ground in Minneriya. Major General Lal Perera , Commander, Security Forces (East) declared open the Vesak Zone on 14 th May 2014 Lot of devotees reside in the area paid visits at the Vesak Zone and attend for Dansala.
