‘EXERCISE - MASTER LOGGER' COMMENCED AT SFHQ (EAST)

As per the vision of the Commander of the Army, the ‘Exercise Master Logger’ has been planned to conduct at all SFHQs of the Sri Lanka Army. The Security Force Headquarters (East) in partnership with Army School of Logistics conducts the first Exercise Master Logger at the Security Force Headquarters (East).

The Exercise Master Logger is specially designed to develop professional competencies of Staff Officers and Other Ranks who handle Administrative and Logistics matters in Formation Headquarters of the Sri Lanka Army and the aim of the exercise is to enhance the professional competencies of Staff Officers and Other Ranks on Administrative and Logistics procedures practised in the Army.

The Opening Address of the Exercise was delivered by the Commander, Security Forces (East) Major General K P A Jayasekera WWV RSP USP ndc psc, today (11) morning. The Staff Officers and Other Ranks of all levels belonging to Administrative and Logistics branches of under command Divisions, Brigades and 2ICs and Staff of Battalions of Security Force Headquarters (East) are participating in the Exercise.

The Commandant of the Army School of Logistics Brigadier W G D Wanniarachchi psc, Brigadier Admin & Quartering - SFHQ (E) Brigadier M R Wanniarachchi ato were also present at this occasion. The Exercise Master Logger will be terminated on 15 March 19.
