YOUTH CENTRE KANTHALE TURNED INTO AN ICC

With the COVID 19 cases surging in many parts of the country, health officials are scrambling to find beds to accommodate the large number of patients who test positive on daily basis. Considering this urgent need, another Intermediate Care Centre (ICC) was opened at the Youth Centre Kanthale as directed by the Commander Security Force (East) Major General Channa Weerasuriya and the General Officer Commanding of 22 Infantry Division Major General Samantha Silva.

The centre which consists with 150 beds was established with the coordination of GA and RDHS Trincomalee.
