VOLLEYBALL AND SOFTBALL CRICKET TOURNAMENT ORGANIZED BY SFHQ (EAST) TO CELEBRATE 21st ANNIVERSARY

In celebration of the Security Forces Headquarters (East)upcoming 21st Anniversary on 31 October 2024, Security Forces Headquarters (East)organized a Volleyball and Softball Cricket tournament at Welikanda.

A total of sixteen teams competed to become champions of the Volleyball and Cricket tournament. After closely contested prelimery matches, the finals were held on 27 October at the SFHQ (East) playground. Major General S A Kulatunge RWP RSP VSV USP psc, Commander Security Forces (East), graced the event as the Chief Guest and awarded trophies to the winners.

7 SLE showcasing remarkable Volleyball prowess throughout the tournament, clinched the Volleyball championship, whilst 3 (V) MIC became the runners up. The Log Comd team won the closely contested Cricket championship whilst SFHQ (E) team became the runners up. Special awards were also distributed recognizing outstanding individual perfomances.
