VISIT OF COMMANDER OF THE ARMY LIEUTENANT GENERAL A W J C DE SILVA RWP VSV USP ndu psc
The Commander of the Army Lieutenant General A W J C De Silva RWP VSV USP ndu psc visited 23 Division in Security Force (East) on 15 March 2016. On his arrival Commander 23 Division Major General D D U K Hettiarachchi WWV USP ndu psc warmly welcomed him in accordance with military formalities. The Commander addressed a gathering of nearly 1000 troops of 23 Division, where he highlighted the importance of training, maintenance of discipline and relationship with the general public. To mark the visit the Commander of the Army Lieutenant General A W J C De Silva RWP VSV USP ndu psc planted a tree at 23 Division Headquarters premises.
