On the concept of the Commander, Security Forces - East Major General Priyantha Jayawardena, directions of the General Officer Commanding 24 Infantry Division, Major General Shaliya Amunugama and close supervision of the Commander 241 Infantry Brigade, Brigadier Chandra Abeykoon, troops of 18th Battalion of Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment, Organized an Entertainment programme and Distribution of School Equipments with Lunch for the Childrens of “Vision of hope children’s Center” at Pandirippu- Kalmuneis
Accordantly, the programme was conducted on Saturday (01) in parallel with the “World Children’s day”. For this programme 40 Childrens and 10 numbers of Staff were benefited
Furthermore, Commanding Officer 18th Battalion of Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment, Lieutenant Colonel Dharshana Sirisena and Officers and Other ranks joined to make the event success.
