TROOPS ORGANIZED A SPECIAL LUNCH FOR STUDENTS

Students and Teachers of Po/Dibulagala Kashshapa Vidyalaya, thanks to an initiative of the Security Force - East were the recipients of Lunch on Monday (03) with sponsorship, extended by the “Thalagala Sri Siddhartha foundation” at Horana.

Under the guidelines and supervision of the Commander, Security Forces - East, Major General Priyantha Jayawardena, 09th Battalion Sri Lanka Artillery Regiment and troops organized a Special Lunch at the Po/Dibulagala Kashshapa Vidyalaya premises at Dibulagala, for this programme 550 Students and 32 Numbers of Teachers with staff were benefited.

Furthermore, Major General Priyantha Jayawardena, Commander, SF-(E ) attended as the Chief Guest and the project was coordinated by Venerable Sathdharma Kirthi Sri Thalagala Sumanarathana Thero, Chief Sanga of the “Mangalaramaya Temple at Horana, with Mahasanga, Major General Shewanth Kulathunge, General Officer Commanding 23 Infantry Division, Brigadier Wasantha Hevage, Commander, 233Infantry Brigade, Colonel Rajive Frenando , Chief Civil Coordinating Officer SF-(E), Lieutenant Colonel Prabhath Halpage, Civil Coordinating Officer SF-(E),Lieutenant Colonel Dinesh Wanigasekara Commanding Officer, 9th SLA, Several Officers, Other ranks and representatives of the donor agency took part in the distribution ceremony.
