Troops of the 22 Division organized a blood donation programe on 17 (Wednesday) at the Headquarters of 22 Division, Trincomalee. This commendable event was organized under the guidance of General Officer Commanding 22 Division, Major General Aruna Jayasekara in response to a request made by Dr. R A Devarajah in charge of the Blood Blank Trincomalee. More than 150 Officers and Other Ranks voluntarily donated blood for use of patients in the Trincomalee Hospital.
