With the guidance and the close supervision of the Commander Security Forces (East), Troops of 9th Field Regiment Sri Lanka Artillery organized a distribution programme of Educational Aids and Dry Ration packs among 28 underprivileged school students and their parents of Monarathenna Primary School on 11 January 2025 with the participation of Lions Club of Biyagama Circle with the objective of helping the needy students and minimize the financial burden of their parents. The Commander Security Forces (East) graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.The General Officer Commanding 23 Infantry Divission , Commander 233 Infantry Brigade, Officers and Other Ranks also attend to the occassion.
