Under the guidance of Commander 231 Infantry Brigade, Brigadier Vijitha Hettiarchchi and with the supervision of Commanding Officer of 4 Gamunu Watch, Lieutenant Colonel Lasantha Jayasinghe, the troops of 4 GW organized a programme to distribute dry ration packs among 45 needy families in Kiranon 24 June 2021.
This programme was held parallel with “Poson Poya Day” with the support of some donors in Batticaloa district to facilitate for the needy families at Kiran, those who are undergoing hardships due to prevailing Covid -19 pandemic situation.
