TROOPS OF 241 INFANTRY BRIGADE DISTRIBUTION OF SPORTS ITEMS FOR THE SCHOOL CHILDREN

On the concept of the Commander, Security Forces - East Major General Sujeewa Hetiarachchi, directions of the General Officer Commanding 24 Infantry Division, Major General Wajira Welagedara and close supervision of the Commander 241 Infantry Brigade, Brigadier Chandra Abekoon,to improve the sports skills of the school children, troops of 18th Battalion Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment has beendistributed sports items to the school Students of “Kal/Imam Ghashali High School” in the school Auditorium at Nindaur - Kalmune under the patronage of Mr.S M L Nasiroon on 18th November 2022.

Accordantly, Commander, 241 Infantry Brigade, Brigadier Chandra Abeykoon participated as a chief guest and the donor Mr. S.M.L. Nasiroon, the Principal of the school, Civil affairs Officer of 241 Infantry Brigade, Commanding Officer of the 18th Battalion Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment and, Several Officers and Other Ranks ,Teachers, Students, Invitees were joined to make for this occasion.
