Troops of 12 Gemunu Watch (GW) conducted a school accessories distribution program at the Aralaganwila Mahaweli Prathibha Auditorium on 19 July 2024,
aiming to support students facing economic difficulties.A total of 165 students received book packs during the event. In addition to the distribution, the Sri Lanka Army Corps of Agriculture and Livestock Seva Vanitha Branch generously provided lunch for teachers, parents, and students.Major General S.A. Kulatunge RWP RSP VSV USP psc, the Commander, Security Forces - East, graced the event as the chief guest.
The program was sponsored by Dr. Sanjeewa Rajapaksha, Mr. Jaliya Bodinnagoda, Mr. Hiranda Silva, and Mr. Vipula Perera.
Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks participated in the event.
