As per the concept of Commander of the Army and with the guidance of Commander Security Forces (East), 22 Division organized a Christmas Carols programme followed by the Mid Night Holy Mass at St Anthony’s Church, China Bay on 24th December 2019.
The guidance and blessings of Rev. Fr. Dr. George Dissanayake - Parish Priest of St. Anthony’s Church, China Bay was highly instrumental in making this event a success.
Rt. Rev. Dr. Christian Noel Emmanuel - Bishop of Trincomalee graced the occasion as the Guest of Honour along with Major General AI Marasingha RWP RSP – General Officer Commanding 22 Division, Mr. Sudath Nagahamulla - Deputy Inspector General of Police Trincomalee, Air Commodore RAUP Rajapaksa RSP – Commandant SLAF Academy China Bay, Senior Officers of the Division, Brigades and Battalions including several civil dignitaries.
The whole programme was telecast live on Siyatha TV in coordination with Sri Lanka Army.
