Brave Sri Lankans who made the ultimate sacrifice in the nations purist of peace are commemorated within the month of May each year. 4th Battalion the Gemunu Watch has organized a tree plantation program areas of Unnichchai water reservoir from 0830hrs to 1000hrs on 09 June 2025 under the guidance of the Commander Security Forces (East), according to instruction given by General Officer Commanding 23 Infantry Division, under the direction of Commander 232 Infantry Brigade, and as per the concept of Commanding Officer 4th Battalion the Gemunu Watch Lieutenant Colonel SMGVK Bandara USP psc. 02` x 25 Troops from 4th Battalion the Gemunu Watch have participated for the tree plantation program.
