TOOPS OF SF (E) ORGANIZED A SPECIAL LUNCH AND DONATION OF ESSENTIALS FOR THE CHILDREN

On the concept of the Commander, Security Forces – East Major General Priyantha Jayawardena, directions of the General Officer Commanding 22 Infantry Division, Major General Saliya Amunugama and close supervision of the Commander 221 Infantry Brigade, Sujeewa Rathnayaka, troops of 22 Infantry Division Offer a Special Lunch for children of “Rewatha” children’s home in Trincomalee. For that event donation of essentials accessories and musical programme also conducted.

This programme was conducted on Sunday (09) incoincident with the “73rdArmy Anniversary” and 30 Children and 05 Numbers of Staff were benefited.

Furthermore, Commander 221 Infantry Brigade, Colonel Sujeewa Rathnayaka attended as the Chief Guest and Colonel Coordinator (Volunteer) - 22 Infantry Division, Colonel Hemantha Perera, Several Officers and Other ranks of the 22 Infantry Division and under command formations joined to make the event success.
