THIRD STOCK OF 22 DIVISION PRODUCED ORGANIC FERTILIZER RELEASED

Giving a boost to the Government's Organic Fertilizer Production Process as per the directions of the Chief of Defence Staff and Commander of the Army General Shavendra Silva, the third stock of organic fertilizer produced by the troops under the 22 Infantry Division was released to ‘Ceylon Fertilizer Company Limited' (Lak Pohora) on the supervision of Major General Sanath Aluvihare, General Officer Commanding 22 Infantry Division at the Headquarters premises of 22 Infantry Division in Trincomalee on Wednesday (19).

The General Officer Commanding, 22 Infantry Division graced the simple ceremony where the District Marketing Executive of ‘Ceylon Fertilizer Company Limited in Eastern Province’, Mr RMD Rathnayake symbolically received 27,000 kg of compost fertilizer.

Colonel General Staff of 22 Infantry Division and officers of Ceylon Fertilizer Company Limited were also present at the occasion.
