According to the direction given by Comd of 222 Infantry Brigade, Brig H K S Thilakarathne, and the supervision of the Commanding Officer 5(V) SLA , Lt Col W W M P B Wekadapola USP psc IG SLA, Tps of 5(V) SLA were conducted “Mee” tree planting programme to celebrate the 76th Indipenden Day.´The programme was conducted on 04th February 2024 at Mahaweli River bund Siththaru, of Sooriyapura GS Division under the Kantale DS Division. 01X10 troops participated in the event and the photos are attached here please.
